Pierpont Community & Technical College’s Testing Center offers certification and licensure testing for a variety of professions. These include:
Pearson Vue®
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized Pearson VUE® Testing Center. The Pearson VUE advanced computer-based testing system administers exams such as the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), Cisco Systems®, CompTIA and others. This testing site is housed at the Advanced Technology Center.
College Board® (CLEP™)
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized College Board® College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) Testing Center. CLEP exams are available for a variety of subjects/topics. This testing site is housed at the Advanced Technology Center.
Meazure Learning
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized Meazure Learning testing center. This advanced computer-based testing system administers exams such as EMT-wound care, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Fitness Certifications and Board of Certification Athletic Trainer testing. This testing site is housed at the Advanced Technology Center.
ACCUPLACER
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized Next Generation Accuplacer testing center. This testing site is housed at the Advanced Technology Center.
ACT-Residual
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized ACT-Residual testing center. ACT Residual Testing is limited to those who are in the application process, have been admitted, or have enrolled at Pierpont Community and Technical College. Score results are official and can be used for admission, course placement, and other enrollment management decisions. This testing site is housed at the Advanced Technology Center.
Performance Assessment Network (PAN)
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized Pan Proctor Testing Center. PAN Testing is a leading provider of online talent assessments offering a variety of tests for corporate and government clients such as the FBI, TSA, Amazon, and Pepsi. I-9 verification can also be completed at PAN Testing facilities. This testing site is housed at the Advanced Technology Center.
DSST
DSST testing is available at the Advanced Technology Center. The nationally recognized DSST Credit-by-Exam Program gives students the opportunity to receive college credit for learning acquired outside of the traditional classroom. With more than 30 exam titles in college subject areas such as Social Sciences, Math, Applied Technology, Business, Physcial Sciences, and Humanities, DSST exams shorten the pathway to graduation while reducing college costs.
ATI-TEAS
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized ATI-TEAS Testing Center, providing in person test proctoring at the Advanced Technology Center.
Professional Service Industries-PSI
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized PSI Testing Center. PSI offers a variety of exams for professional licensure and certification including real estate, insurance, construction, barber, National Home Inspector, EKG, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Administrative Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), cosmetology, and all FAA certification testing. PSI also offers pre-employment assessments. Pierpont offers two PSI testing sites, one housed at the Advanced Technology Center and one at the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center.
Certiport
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized PSI Testing Center. Certiport exams are available to students attending Pierpont Community & Technical College. These exams are for certifications in various software including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Specialist.
PROV
Pierpont Community & Technical College is an authorized PROV Testing Center. PROV administers licensure and certification exams for various professional fields, including construction, trades, real estate, cosmetology, and more. In West Virginia (WV), PROV has partnered with several state boards and regulatory agencies to provide testing services for individuals seeking state-required licenses or certifications. This testing site is housed at the Advanced Technology Center.
