PTRM 1117 - Introduction to Midstream Gas Operations3 hr(s).
This course introduces the student to midstream gas operations including handling, processing, transportation and storage of gas after it leaves the well. The course includes the basics of gathering system design, gas conditioning, gas compression, data transmission and safety. In addition students learn the terminology and basic calculations associated with basic midstream operations.
Prerequisite(s): MTH 1203 or higher with a grade of “C” or better in each
Restriction(s): Applied Process Technology, Electric Utility Technology, and Petroleum Technology majors
