RESP 1101 - Introduction to Respiratory Care2 hr(s).
This course introduces the respiratory care student to the basic principles and skills required to care for the cardiopulmonary patient with a significant emphasis on respiratory anatomy and physiology, including patient assessment, principles of oxygen administration and basic pulmonary diagnostic procedures. The successful completion of this course with a “C” or better is required for graduation.
