~PHY 1103 - Physics of Light and Color - Lecture3 hr(s). This course is an introductory physics course designed for non-science majors. Topics include the basic physics of light, optical instruments, the eye, and colors. Familiarity with elementary high school algebra, geometry, and trigonometry is recommended. A two-hour laboratory period each week (PHY 1103L ) supplements the three lecture-recitation periods. Prerequisite(s): Must be taken concurrently with PHY 1103L .
