Program Purpose
This Skill Set is designed to enable students to explore basic techniques of computer presentation and multimedia. Students will use contemporary design software to create and edit raster and vector images and manipulate video and multimedia files.
Student Learning Outcomes

Create vector and raster artwork

Optimize images for the web

Generate print and web artwork that demonstrates industry specifications

Manage workflow and consistent color for print and web output

Capture, edit and export digital video along with digital audio.

Assemble video projects in professional non-linear editing software showing proficiency in importing, exporting, effects, transitions, color correcting, and flow.

Demonstrate proper use of professional multimedia authoring tools for media distribution.
Opportunities
Image and video editing are foundational skills that apply to many industries. These skills are used in settings where social media production, photography, video production, marketing and advertising are key objectives.
