PTRM 2227 - Pressure Pumping Operations2 hr(s). This course trains the student in the technology of pressure pumping operations with primary focus on cementing and hydraulic fracturing operations. This course covers an in-depth review of pressure pumping equipment, chemical additives, purpose for cementing casing and the stimulation of shall gas reservoirs. Prerequisite(s): PTRM 1104 , PTRM 1107 and PTRM 1109 with a grade of ‘C’ or better Restriction(s): Applied Process Technology, Electric Utility Technology, and Petroleum Technology majors only
