Pierpont Community & Technical College’s Office of Career and Corporate Training (CCT) offers accelerated programs designed to provide skill upgrades, stackable micro-credentials, and stand-alone certifications. By design, these programs connect and support meaningful career pathways that can move a participant from foundational level training into advanced certificate and degree programs. With direct input from business and industry, Career and Corporate Training collaborates to develop highly skilled workers poised for gainful employment, salary increases, and advancement.

Career Trainings

Career Trainings are accelerated, open enrollment offerings that serve as pathways into immediate employment, additional accelerated training or academic programming at Pierpont and fall into three general categories:

  • Health careers
  • Trades and Technology
  • Essential Professional Skills

Career trainings offer credentialed skills that today’s workforce needs to be effective and marketable and align with high demand occupations in healthcare, energy, manufacturing, IT, as well as entrepreneurs, are currently experiencing growth and need qualified workers.

Customized Training Services

Customized Training Services are designed for employers, municipalities, and organizations looking to improve employee skills through flexible, personalized education solutions. Choose from our existing curriculum or we develop curriculum using subject matter experts to meet a company’s unique workforce development needs.

Community Education 

Community Education offerings are short, affordable, non-credit courses designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and explore new interests. Open to learners of all ages, these offerings include year-round classes and engaging summer camps that cover everything from creative arts and cooking to technology, wellness, and practical life skills-bringing learning to life for our community.
