FOSM 2235 - Food and Culture3 hr(s). This course will strengthen global awareness and diversity as students investigate the cultural practices and health beliefs specific to food choices and preparation methods of ten distinct regions of the globe. Learners will apply background knowledge to determination of diet-related health concerns, food systems impact, and specific nutrition standards of each culture as compared to the United States. Prerequisite(s): FOSM 1110 and FOSM 2202 (concurrently) Restriction(s): Food Service Management only
