FSMD 2217 - Visual Merchandising3 hr(s).
Visual merchandising for retail stores will be covered in this course. The study of how to market merchandise, promote a store’s image, and create distinctive environments both physical and virtual. The student will plan and execute a variety of displays, apply principles of marketing in the merchandise selection, develop a theme, select props and layout, apply lighting concepts and graphic techniques, and target marketing for select consumers.
