RESP 2250 - Clinical Practicum II4 hr(s). Students will apply the skills obtained from laboratory practice in a full-service respiratory care department under the guidance of a clinical instructor. This course provides clinical application of technical and professional skills used in the intensive care unit, with emphasis on the mechanically ventilated patient, and requires student travel to clinical affiliate sites. Rotations may be scheduled in the sleep lab, pulmonary function lab, pulmonary rehabilitation, and/or home care. A mandatory rotation in Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care will be scheduled.
