ENRG 2052 - Plant Simulation3 hr(s).
This course is designed to teach students typical operation techniques of power plants and other processing plants/components. The course will use process simulation software to introduce students to start-up, shut-down, and standard operating procedures. Students will also be introduced to abnormal conditions and trip scenarios within the simulated procedures.
Prerequisite(s): ENRG 1040 and ENRG 1042
Restriction(s): Applied Process Technology, Petroleum Technology, and Advanced Welding
