LPNC 1115 - Pharmacology II for the Practical Nurse1 hr(s). This course is designed for LPN students to build upon their foundational pharmacological knowledge and deepen their understanding of pharmacology as it relates to major physiological systems. Students will learn about the pharmacological treatment options for disorders of the neurological, musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, hematologic, gastrointestinal, reproductive/genitourinary, endocrine, and immune systems. Additionally, the course will cover the management of pain and inflammation and the pharmacological management of infections. Students will also develop critical thinking skills through case studies and clinical scenarios, preparing them for the safe administration of medications and the management of patients with complex conditions. Prerequisite(s): LPNC 1101, LPNC 1105, LPNC 1107, LPNC 1130, LPNC 1131 Restriction(s): Licensed Practical Nursing Major
